Working Hours: 8:15 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging History & Geography lessons for Grades 8–10 in accordance with the ICSE curriculum.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding through interactive and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Possess strong expertise in Topography (Map Reading & Interpretation) and effectively prepare students for ICSE examinations, where topographical map interpretation is a core component.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, projects, and revision sessions to monitor student progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Integrate maps, atlases, digital resources, and current affairs to make learning engaging and relevant.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programmes.
Requirements
- Master's/Bachelor's Degree in History, Geography, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in an ICSE school (preferred).
- Strong command over History and Geography concepts, especially Topography and Map Work.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital teaching tools.
