About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter specializing in Millwork, FF&E, or Interior Design. The role involves translating design intent into precise, production‑ready drawings for hospitality and interior projects. You will collaborate with design leads and project teams to deliver technical documentation that supports manufacturing, procurement, and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- FF&E drafting and millwork detailing from design concepts, sketches, and specifications.
- Floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D layouts for guest areas and public spaces.
- Furniture and finish schedules with detailed component callouts.
- Coordination with architectural, MEP, and structural backgrounds to resolve clashes.
- Incorporation of redlines and markups with accurate revision tracking.
- Maintenance of drawing standards, layering conventions, and templates.
- Support for submittal packages, sample boards, and procurement documentation.
- Collaboration with manufacturing partners to ensure buildable, quality‑compliant drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3.5 years of professional drafting experience in Interior Design, FF&E, or Millwork.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; strong drafting evidence required.
- Solid grasp of materials, finishes, and furniture/millwork construction methods.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English.
- Candidates with experience limited to site engineering, infrastructure, or MEP will not be considered.
Software & Tools
- Essential: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office/Excel
- Preferred: Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu
- Experience with plug‑ins and automation tools is a plus.
