Role overview
We are seeking a motivated Product Management Intern to support our product and pre-sales teams. The selected candidate will assist in preparing customer-facing documents, mapping product capabilities to requirements, and supporting pre-sales activities such as demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs). This role offers practical exposure to RFP/RFI response workflows, product positioning, and market research within the cybersecurity domain.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Support preparation of RFP and RFI responses, including drafting content, building response templates, and maintaining compliance matrices.
- Assist in creating technical documents, solution briefs, whitepapers, and customer-facing presentations that articulate product features and value propositions.
- Map WhizHack product capabilities to customer requirements for bids and proposals; produce capability matrices and gap analyses.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities: prepare demo scripts and collateral, coordinate with engineering for POC setups, and assist during customer demonstrations.
- Assist in empanelment and vendor onboarding processes by compiling required documentation, ensuring submissions meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct basic market and competitor research in the cybersecurity space to inform product positioning and competitive differentiators; summarize findings in concise reports.
- Collaborate with product, sales, engineering, and legal teams to ensure consistent messaging and timely delivery of deliverables.
- Maintain organized documentation and version control for all pre-sales and product artifacts.
Preferred qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (network security, endpoint protection, OT/IT convergence, cloud security).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable drafting technical content and presentations.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate compliance artifacts (matrices, checklists).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Google Workspace).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize research into actionable insights.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-have
- Prior internship or coursework in pre-sales, product management, technical writing, or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with RFP/RFI processes, SOC 2/ISO/PCI compliance frameworks, or cyber standards.
- Basic scripting or cloud knowledge (Python, Bash, AWS/Azure/GCP fundamentals).
