Roles and Responsibilities of an English Teacher (Up to Grade 8)Academic Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons according to the curriculum.
- Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills.
- Develop students' comprehension and communication abilities.
- Encourage correct pronunciation and fluent spoken English.
- Conduct classroom activities, storytelling, debates, role-plays, and language games.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
- Assess students through classwork, homework, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic progress.
Classroom Management
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage respectful behavior.
- Ensure active participation from all students.
- Manage classroom resources effectively.
Student Development
- Identify students requiring additional academic support.
- Provide remedial teaching and individual guidance when necessary.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in communication.
- Foster a love for reading through library activities and reading programs.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance records and student portfolios.
- Complete report cards and progress reports on time.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and workshops.
- Assist in examination duties, paper setting, and evaluation.
Parent Communication
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
School Responsibilities
- Participate in school events, assemblies, competitions, and cultural programs.
- Support school policies and maintain professional conduct.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Principal or School Management.
Professional Conduct
- Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and educational practices.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
