Summary Description: AEM Developer will play a vital role in the development, testing and deployment of Adobe Experience Management Web and Mobile solutions. Responsible for developing potential electronic data processing applications and prepares design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs of the corporation
What you’ll do:
The AEM developer will be responsible for execution of critical projects in both AEM as well as guiding general front end development.
- Designing , development and deployment of web applications in Adobe experience manager.
- Work with the Architect, Project Manager, Business team, Technology team, Clients and Partners to capture the active, as well as on-going maintenance/support related requirements and make changes to the application accordingly.
- Good knowledge in integrating AEM applications with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and other third-party applications.
- Estimate efforts for various support tasks, and prioritize the same with the business team.
- Make changes to AEM site content, assets, and workflow.
- Design and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, and JCR).
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and be the “go to” person for key disciplines.
- Participate in the software design, development, and implementation using standard WCM and/or eCommerce platforms such as Adobe AEM (CQ), SDL Tridion, Sitecore, Fatwire, CrownPeak, hybris, Oracle/ATG Demandware, Intershop and IBM WebSphere Commerce.
Your qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Skill Level
- 3 + years experience in developing and implementing Adobe AEM v6.5 / AEMaaCS in large scale environments.
- 5 plus years of strong Java / J2EE development hands on experience.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the following: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST / GraphQL API, Groovy, Javascript, Front-end Frameworks, SPA, JSON, HTML5, CSS3.
- Proven experience with AEM Guides & deep understanding of DITA.
- Experience with Search implementation.
- Experience with open source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate etc.
- Strong analytical mindset with good troubleshooting skills
- Experience creating presentations and technical design documents
- Experience on preparing proposals, conducting PoC’s, design solution approach and prepare estimations
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to write analysis reports and effectively communicate results to developers and other stakeholders
