SGIS Pune is seeking a passionate, scholarly, and deeply experienced Senior Marathi and Hindi Teacher to lead our Indian Languages department. Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Excellence: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in both Marathi and Hindi languages and literature for senior classes.
- Language Fluency: Enhance students' reading, writing, and speaking competencies, preparing them thoroughly for board examinations.
- Cultural Engagement: Organize and lead literary clubs, debates, drama, and cultural events celebrating Marathi and Hindi heritage.
- Boarding Duties: Participate actively in the pastoral and co-curricular life of the boarding school community.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Hindi and/or Marathi, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of teaching experience at the senior level, preferably in a reputed international or residential boarding school.
- Skills: Exceptional bilingual communication skills. Ability to connect with students empathetically while maintaining high academic and behavioral standards.
- Adaptability: Comfort and willingness to adapt to the schedules and lifestyle of a residential campus.
