We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Java Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience to join our in-house development team for a 1-year consultant opportunity.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and enterprise-grade applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless delivery
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems
Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions
Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
Work with databases and integrate third-party APIs/services
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
Experience with REST APIs and backend architecture
Knowledge of databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
