Position
VR Support Staff / VR Equipment Assistant
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and responsible support staff member to assist in conducting VR-based educational programs in schools and institutions. The candidate will help students wear and use VR headsets safely, assist in setup and transportation of equipment, and support smooth operation of VR sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist students in properly wearing and removing VR headsets;
- Guide children during VR sessions to ensure safe and comfortable usage;
- Help in arranging and managing VR equipment during school programs;
- Assist in connecting routers, tablets, and VR devices for content broadcasting and synchronization;
- Carry, transport, load, and unload VR devices and related materials to different schools and venues;
- Support trainers during educational sessions and demonstrations;
- Ensure proper charging, packing, cleaning, and basic maintenance of devices;
- Help maintain discipline and smooth flow during student sessions;
- Report any technical or physical damage issues to the Company;
- Assist in setup and dismantling of equipment before and after programs;
- Perform other operational support activities assigned by the Company.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of smartphones, tablets, Wi-Fi/router connections, or electronic devices;
- Ability to learn simple technical setup procedures;
- Good behaviour and patience while handling children;
- Physically fit to travel and carry equipment;
- Willingness to travel to schools and events regularly.
Qualification
- Minimum: Plus Two / Higher Secondary
- ITI / Diploma / Basic computer knowledge preferred
Experience
- Freshers may apply
- Experience in event support, electronics handling, school activities, or technical support will be an advantage.
Work Nature
- Field-oriented job involving regular travel to schools and institutions
- May require early morning reporting and occasional extended working hours during programs
Salary Range
₹8,000 – ₹10,000 per month depending upon experience, field travel requirements, and skills. Additional conveyance or travel support may be provided as per Company policy.
Important Note
The role primarily involves operational and technical support for VR educational activities and does not constitute a teaching position.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 11 months
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Thrissur, Kerala (Thrissur)
