Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Computer Science / IT lessons according to the CBSE curriculum for middle school classes.
- Teach fundamental concepts such as Computer Basics, MS Office, Internet, Programming Basics, and Digital Literacy.
- Conduct practical lab sessions and guide students in hands-on computer activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and question papers.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and practical exams.
- Maintain and monitor computer lab discipline and equipment usage.
- Encourage students to develop logical thinking, problem-solving, and coding skills.
- Integrate technology and smart classroom tools in teaching.
- Participate in school academic planning, meetings, and training sessions.
- Maintain proper records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
Qualification
- BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science) / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent qualification.
- B.Ed. preferred as per CBSE norms.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and practical skills may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, Internet Applications, and Basic Programming.
- Familiarity with school computer labs and digital teaching tools.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for students.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Coding (Python, Scratch, HTML, or Basic Programming).
- Experience with Smart Classes, Robotics, or AI basics in school education.
