VACANCY | SOCIAL WORKER / REHABILITATION COORDINATOR
Samaritan Help Mission (SHM), a reputed Tikiapara, Howrah-based NGO working exclusively with underprivileged communities in Education, Health, Skill Development, Sports & Financial Inclusion, invites applications for a professional Social Worker / Coordinator with experience in working with prisoners and correctional/rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work towards the welfare, rehabilitation and social reintegration of prisoners.
- Liaise and coordinate with Jail/Correctional Home authorities.
- Identify opportunities for legal aid and access to justice for deserving prisoners.
- Coordinate with legal professionals, government authorities and other stakeholders.
- Maintain case records, follow-ups and progress reports.
Eligibility: Bachelor/Masters from recognized institution/university or any other relevant qualification with appropriate experience.
Experience: Prior experience in working with prisoners, correctional institutions, rehabilitation or legal-aid programmes will be strongly preferred.
Salary: Commensurate with experience, skills and track record.
Location: Tikiapara, Howrah, West Bengal
