An Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department is responsible for delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate education, conducting impactful research, and supporting departmental administration.
Core Responsibilities
1. Teaching and Academic Delivery
- Course Instruction: Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for B.Tech, M.Tech.
- Core Subjects: Teach specialized topics like Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Communication Systems, and Analog/Digital Electronics.
- Lab Supervision: Conduct laboratory experiments, design lab manuals, and guide students through practical hardware/software applications.
- Curriculum Design: Update course syllabi to align with emerging industry technologies and institutional frameworks.
2. Research and Innovation
- Publications: Conduct original research and publish findings in peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed, or SCI journals.
- Funded Projects: Prepare and submit proposals to secure external research grants, consulting projects, or patents.
- Conferences: Present research at reputed national and international technical conferences.
3. Student Mentorship and Project Guidance
- Project Advising: Supervise student capstone projects, internships, dissertations, and research theses.
- Career Mentoring: Guide students regarding campus placements, higher education opportunities, and professional developmet
4.Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Master's degree (M.E./M.Tech) in ECE is required; a Ph.D. in a relevant specialization is highly preferred or mandatory for tenure track.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, Xilinx, Keil, Cadence, or Python).
