Job Summary
We are hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Operator for a jewelry retail store located in Hauz Khas, Delhi. The candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting entries, billing, inventory records, GST-related work, and maintaining accurate financial data using Tally software. Experience in jewelry retail accounting and stock handling will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP.
- Handle sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal voucher entries.
- Generate invoices and maintain billing records accurately.
- Manage jewelry stock entries, inventory reconciliation, and inward/outward records.
- Prepare GST data, E-way bills, and assist in tax documentation.
- Handle bank reconciliation and vendor/customer ledger management.
- Maintain records of cash transactions and daily sales reports.
- Coordinate with store management, CA, and accounts team for financial documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of invoices, challans, and accounting records.
- Support audit and compliance-related activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and GST.
- Experience in billing, invoicing, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Tally Operator or Accounts Executive.
- Prior experience in jewelry retail/showroom industry preferred.
- Graduate in Commerce or related field preferred.
- Honest, responsible, and capable of handling confidential financial information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
