Technical Leadership and Innovation:
- Drive technical vision and architecture decisions across major initiatives while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical development work
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to evaluate new technologies and approaches, particularly in AI/ML and cloud-native solutions
- Establish technical standards and best practices while actively contributing to code development and reviews
- Champion and implement innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies including large language models, deep learning, and advanced AI frameworks
Hands-on Development and Engineering Excellence:
- Actively write high-quality code and develop sophisticated technical solutions for complex problems
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable architectures for enterprise-grade applications
- Lead by example in writing "beautiful" supportable code and creating detailed technical specifications
- Drive rapid, lean engineering solutions through quick experimentation and iterative development
Innovation and Technical Strategy:
- Lead research and development initiatives in emerging technologies, particularly in AI/ML
- Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and tools across teams
- Conduct technical deep dives and architectural reviews to ensure solution quality
- Guide teams in implementing DevSecOps practices and maintaining technical excellence
Technical Expertise Requirements:
Must Have:
- Deep expertise in modern software engineering practices, patterns, and principles
- Advanced knowledge of AI/ML technologies including deep learning frameworks, MLOps, and large language models
- Extensive experience with cloud-native development and microservices architectures
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Proven track record of leading technical innovation and conducting successful POCs
- Expert-level knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD implementation
- Extensive experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures
- Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their ML services (SageMaker/Azure ML/Vertex AI)
- Strong background in data engineering and processing for AI/ML applications
- Test Automation: Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and practices
- Container Technologies: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Domain-Specific Knowledge and experience: Custom, Mobile, Data & Analytics, RPA, or Packages
Good to Have:
- Experience with emerging AI technologies and frameworks
- Expertise in container orchestration and cloud infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of edge computing and IoT implementations
- Experience with real-time processing systems and event-driven architectures
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with major cloud providers and their services

Education:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership
- Proven track record of hands-on development and technical innovation
- Extensive experience in modern software development methodologies and practices
- Strong history of successful POC development and implementation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
- Expert-level proficiency in multiple technical domains
- Excellence in technical communication and knowledge sharing
- Track record of mentoring and elevating team technical capabilities.
