Key Responsibilities in Cybersecurity Job Overview and Ideal Candidate Profile • We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect our organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. • The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, a passion for learning, and the ability to analyze security events and respond to incidents. Core Responsibilities in Cybersecurity Operations • Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and investigate suspicious activities. • Analyze logs, identify potential threats, and escalate incidents when required. • Perform incident response and assist in containment, eradication, and recovery activities. • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts. • Monitor network traffic and detect malicious behavior. • Investigate Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and Indicators of Attack (IOAs). • Maintain security documentation, reports, and incident records. • Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls and policies. • Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices. Essential Technical and Soft Skills Required • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, Firewalls). • Knowledge of operating systems, especially Windows and Linux. • Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or Wazuh. • Basic understanding of incident response and threat detection. • Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and security frameworks. • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nessus/OpenVAS. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Valued Educational Background and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • Relevant certifications such as CEH, Security+, SC-200, or Splunk certification are a plus. • Internship, home lab, or hands-on cybersecurity project experience is an an advantage. Pay: ₹470,800.00 - ₹740,500.00 per year
