Job Title: Part-Time Phonics Teacher / Instructor

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and creative Phonics Teacher to teach young learners (ages 4 to 8). If you love working with early learners and know how to make reading, letter sounds, and blending engaging through interactive activities, we would love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach phonemic awareness, letter-sound relationships, blending, segmenting, and sight words using systematic phonics methodology (such as Jolly Phonics, Oxford Phonics, or equivalent).
- Conduct engaging, multisensory group classes using flashcards, rhymes, storytelling, and phonics games.
- Assess each child's reading progress and adapt pace to suit different learning levels.
- Maintain a warm, encouraging, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Provide constructive, regular feedback to parents on their child’s progress.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 1+ years of experience teaching phonics, early literacy, or pre-primary levels.
- Certification: Certification in Phonics (e.g., Jolly Phonics / Synthetic Phonics Certification, or early childhood education) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional spoken English with clear pronunciation and diction.
- Traits: Energetic, kid-friendly, patient, and dependable.
- Location: Must be able to commute reliably to our center in Kelambakkam.
Schedule
- 2 to 4 days a week (Weekday late afternoons / Weekend mornings)
- Approximately 6 to 12 teaching hours per week
