The Civil Quality Controller is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that all civil construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The role includes inspections, documentation, testing coordination, and maintaining quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections for civil works including concrete, masonry, steel, finishing, and infrastructure activities.
- Ensure site activities comply with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Monitor workmanship quality and identify non-conformance issues.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, checklists, inspection reports, and test records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors regarding quality matters.
- Review material approvals and ensure approved materials are used at site.
- Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow corrective/preventive actions.
- Witness field and laboratory testing for construction materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in client inspections and internal audits.
- Maintain daily quality reports and handover documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2- 3 years of experience in construction QA/QC activities.
- Knowledge of civil construction standards and quality procedures.
- Familiarity with IS codes, ASTM standards, and quality documentation.
- Ability to read drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of concrete testing and inspection procedures.
- Experience in residential construction quality control (QC) and finishing inspections preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
