Role TL;DR
We're looking for a Photographer & Videographer who can independently shoot product, mannequin, and model content (stills + video) for ecommerce listings and social media - using our existing in-house studio, lighting, and equipment setup.

To help launch the e-commerce vertical for a legacy saree store by creating and owning full funnel creation engine for all content required for E-commerce product listings + Social Media content to build a community and culture that loves Sarees!
Who This Role Is For
You're a Studio Operator with a craftsman's eye.
You've probably freelanced before, or thought about it - chasing client after client, building decks, negotiating rates, never quite getting the volume or consistency to really sharpen your craft. This role flips that. One studio. One brand. However, with a consistent need to push the benchmark on what you think is your best work. High quality, real frequency, and the equipment already set up and waiting for you every single day. You bring the creative eye and the craftful hands; we bring the infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Shoot stills and video of sarees on mannequins and models - fabric texture, drape, color accuracy, movement - for ecommerce listings and social content
- Run high-volume shoot days with consistency: same brand quality, shoot after shoot, week after week. But pushing the benchmark higher to create fresh narratives that keeps our audiences waiting for our posts.
- Direct models and stylists on set to capture the angles, movement, and beats the brand needs
- Light and compose shots tailored for ecommerce (clean, accurate, conversion-ready) and separately for social (motion, mood, narrative)
- Use the studio's existing lighting and equipment setup efficiently - no scrambling for gear, no inconsistent results
- Build a working understanding of the editing process (color grading, retouching, cutting for reels) - not to edit yourself, but to shoot with the edit already in mind and give the editor footage/stills that are easy to work with
- Collaborate closely with the editor - share "Shoot Notes" so they understand intent, and take feedback from them on what's working/not working in post, so your shooting keeps improving
- Maintain a disciplined shoot calendar to keep up with the brand's growing content demand across ecommerce and social
You'll Succeed in this Role if you are/have:
- Strong technical command of studio photography and videography - lighting, composition, camera settings, for fashion/apparel/ecommerce
- An eye for fabric, drape, and color accuracy specific to sarees and apparel
- Comfort directing models and working with a stylist / production team on set
- Basic fluency in how post-production works (retouching, grading, reel-cutting) - enough to shoot smart, not to execute the edit
- Speed and consistency at high shoot volume, without quality dropping
- A "studio operator" mindset: you want ownership of a space and a process, not a portfolio of one-off gigs
Experience Requirements
- 3yrs+ experience shooting fashion/apparel/ecommerce content (saree or textile experience a strong plus)
- Proven experience shooting both stills (ecommerce-ready) and video/reels (social-ready)
- A portfolio demonstrating both product/mannequin work and model-direction work
- Experience working in a studio environment with existing lighting/equipment setups
