About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team and serve as a champion of Agile best practices. In this role, you will foster a culture of self-organization, continuous improvement and high performance. Beyond facilitating ceremonies, you will act as the guardian of the Scrum process, removing impediments, enabling clear communication between stakeholders and ensuring the team consistently delivers value.
Key Responsibilities:
● Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives while ensuring timeboxes are respected
● Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, escalating only when necessary
● Coach teams on Scrum principles and Agile values, enabling a shift from “doing Agile” to “being Agile”
● Support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy, well-prioritized Product Backlog and ensuring user stories are sprint-ready
● Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown/burnup charts and team health indicators to management
● Foster strong collaboration and communication within the team, mediating conflicts to maintain focus on Sprint Goals
● Perform high-level pull request and quality governance reviews, ensuring adherence to the Definition of Done, architectural standards and security best practices
Required Experience and Skills:
● Minimum of 5 years of total professional experience with at least 3 years in a dedicated Scrum Master role
● Deep understanding of the Scrum framework, roles, artifacts and ceremonies
● Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead complex discussions and productive meetings
● Servant leadership mindset with a focus on empowering teams and driving continuous improvement
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
● Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Open Project, Jira, Confluence or Trello
● Experience using collaboration and whiteboarding tools like Miro or Mural
● Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC)
● Working knowledge of GitFlow and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab
Preferred Skills:
● CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master) certification
● Exposure to other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, XP or SAFe
● Experience working with distributed or remote engineering teams
Education:
Candidates must have completed at least a graduate degree (Bachelor’s).
