Rajimathew & Co is seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (HSE) Manager to oversee safety protocols for our ongoing KSTP and KIIFB road construction projects in the Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta districts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a strong safety culture and minimizing workplace hazards on our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive Site Safety Plans aligned with KSTP/KIIFB regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine daily and weekly site inspections and detailed safety audits.
- Facilitate mandatory safety induction and ongoing training sessions for all site workers, machinery operators, and staff.
- Oversee immediate accident reporting, conduct root-cause investigations, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Manage traffic diversion safety and heavy machinery operational protocols.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of practical experience in HSE management, specifically within civil engineering or road construction sectors.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Certifications: A recognized Diploma or Certification in Industrial Safety (such as NEBOSH or IOSH) is highly preferred.
- Skills: Comprehensive understanding of road work hazards, environmental safety, and KIIFB compliance documentation.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
