Eaton’s EITC division is currently seeking a Program and Delivery Manager - AI and Data Delivery.
This position leads the delivery of data and artificial intelligence products for the HR, Legal and Corporate Development functions. The role owns the portfolio from demand intake through design, build, deployment and adoption, and is accountable for the scope, schedule, cost and quality of every initiative within it. It is a new role, created to give these functions a dedicated delivery leader as the demand for data and AI capability continues to grow.
The leader manages the HR, Legal and Corporate Development delivery team and acts as the primary point of contact for functional leadership. Working closely with the System Architect, Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security, the role ensures that solutions handling sensitive employee and legal information meet Eaton architecture, privacy and security standards. The position also serves as secondary owner of the AI Navigator idea-to-disposition process for ideas raised by these functions.
- Lead end-to-end data and artificial intelligence delivery for the HR, Legal and Corporate Development functions, covering demand intake, prioritization, execution, deployment and value realization.
- Own the delivery roadmap and release plan for every product in the portfolio, and hold delivery teams accountable to committed scope, schedule, cost and quality.
- Lead engagement with senior functional stakeholders to identify business priorities, shape demand into fundable initiatives, and secure agreement on outcomes and success measures.
- Manage the HR, Legal and Corporate Development delivery team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, capability building and retention of employees and contractors.
- Act as secondary owner for AI Navigator idea-to-disposition for ideas originating in HR, Legal and Corporate Development, ensuring each idea is assessed, dispositioned and tracked to closure.
- Build and manage the financial plan for the portfolio, including annual budget, project and run forecasting, platform consumption, contractor cost control and variance reporting.
- Partner with the System Architect, Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security so that solutions comply with architecture guardrails, data privacy obligations and information security standards applicable to employee and legal data.
- Establish and operate delivery governance, covering status reporting, risk and issue management, dependency management, change control and steering reviews.
- Drive adoption of Agile delivery practices and improve predictability, cycle time and quality through objective delivery metrics.
- Manage supplier and partner relationships, including statements of work, resource onboarding and performance against agreed service levels.
- Champion organizational change management and user adoption for AI products, and ensure realised benefits are measured and communicated to stakeholders.
- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline such as B.E. / B.Tech / MCA, or B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering. A master degree or MBA is preferred.
- 14 or more years of relevant industry experience in information technology delivery.
- 8 or more years leading program or project delivery for data, analytics or application products in a global organization.
- 4 or more years of direct people leadership of engineering teams that include employees and contract resources.
- Project or program management certification such as PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master or SAFe is preferred.
- Experience delivering technology for HR, Legal or Corporate Development functions, including work with confidential employee or legal data, is preferred.
- Working knowledge of data engineering and analytics platforms, including data pipelines, data warehousing and reporting on Microsoft Azure.
- Practical understanding of artificial intelligence and generative AI solution patterns, including large language models, retrieval augmented generation, prompt design and accuracy evaluation.
- Strong command of program and portfolio management disciplines covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality and benefits management.
- Experience running Agile delivery at scale using Scrum, Kanban or SAFe, with hands-on use of Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling.
- Understanding of enterprise application integration, application programming interfaces and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with data privacy, records retention and information security requirements that apply to employee, legal and corporate development data.
- Financial management capability covering budgeting, forecasting, vendor contracting and cost control.
- Executive communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to translate technical work into business outcomes.
- Ability to lead through influence across a matrixed, global organization and across time zones.
- Proven capability in coaching, developing talent and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
- Structured problem solving and sound decision making in conditions of ambiguity.
- Customer focus, solution orientation and a strong drive for results.
