- Set up CNC machines for different jobs
- Load materials into machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Select and load CNC programs
- Perform quality checks
- Maintain machines and ensure they are safe to use
- Troubleshoot issues and make changes to improve results
- Record machine actions and quality
- Communicate with engineering and other team members
- Train new employees
