Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Platform Lead / Architect with strong expertise in Kubernetes administration, Microservices Architecture, Cloud Platforms, and Containerization technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable platform solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, with a strong focus on Kubernetes (K8s), GCP, DevOps, and modern application modernization practices.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Kubernetes cluster management, containerized application deployment, microservices transformation, platform engineering, and cloud-native architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & Cloud Architecture

Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available platform architectures.

Lead cloud-native transformation initiatives using Kubernetes and Microservices.

Define enterprise platform standards, governance, and best practices.
-
Architect hybrid infrastructure solutions across On-Premises and Cloud environments.
Kubernetes & Containerization
-
Manage and administer Kubernetes (K8s) clusters in On-Premises and Cloud environments.

Configure and maintain Kubernetes networking, ingress, storage, security, and monitoring.

Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them into Kubernetes environments.
-
Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery solutions.
Microservices Architecture
-
Lead Microservices Architecture implementation and modernization programs.
-
Design REST APIs and service communication strategies.
-
Implement service discovery, API gateways, and distributed configuration management.
-
Support application decomposition from monolithic to microservices architecture.
GCP & Cloud Technologies
-
Work on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including:

Compute Engine

Cloud Monitoring

Design cloud migration and cloud optimization strategies.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
DevOps & Automation

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.

Automate deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure provisioning.

Implement DevSecOps and security best practices.

Enable observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar monitoring tools.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead technical teams and mentor engineers on cloud-native technologies.
