About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business data, identifying trends, preparing insightful reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Create dashboards, reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Prepare and present business reports, recommendations, and strategic insights to management.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Complex Formulas, Data Analysis).
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-level presentations and visual narratives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong data visualization and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working effectively across technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with MySQL and SQL queries.
- Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, and business analytics.
- Exposure to process improvement and business intelligence initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or a similar analytical role.
