About Position:
We are looking for a highly experienced Ansible & Terraform Architect to drive infrastructure automation, standardization, and cloud transformation initiatives. This role focuses on implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation‑first practices to improve reliability, scalability, and speed of service delivery across enterprise environments, supporting large‑scale transformations and M&A initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Lead and support solutioning activities for RFPs, solution defence, and large-scale transformation and automation programs.

Architect and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Design and develop automation frameworks using Ansible for configuration management, provisioning, and orchestration.

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps and automation engineers by providing technical guidance, coaching, and architectural direction.

Foster a collaborative, automation-first culture that promotes innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Define and maintain standards for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.

Oversee the management and optimization of infrastructure environments across cloud and on-premises platforms.

Develop reusable Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks to standardize and accelerate deployments.

Manage relationships with technology vendors, cloud providers, and tooling partners, including coordination for support and escalations.

Partner closely with Presales and Sales teams to support automation-led transformation opportunities and solution positioning.

Work with delivery teams to implement best practices across accounts, ensuring consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through roadmap planning, capability showcasing, and advisory engagements.

Continuously align infrastructure automation strategies to business requirements and drive innovation to solve complex challenges.

Improve delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs through automation, standardization, and process optimization.

Provide escalation leadership and hands-on troubleshooting for complex infrastructure, deployment failures, and automation issues.

Establish governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks for infrastructure provisioning and automation services.

Ensure successful execution of due diligence activities and seamless transitions for transformation and migration programs.

Coach track leads and SMEs to enhance expertise in IaC, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architecture.

Stay updated with emerging technologies in the DevOps and automation landscape and apply them for business value creation.
Expertise You'll Bring:

Terraform (modules, state management, workspaces), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and provisioning best practices
-
Ansible (playbooks, roles, collections), configuration management and orchestration
-
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security services

CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD

Version control systems such as Git, branching strategies, and repository management
-
Containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
-
Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
-
Infrastructure security, compliance frameworks, secrets management (Vault, Key Vault, etc.)

Networking fundamentals including VPC, subnets, load balancers, firewalls, and connectivity models
-
Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Cloud-native monitoring solutions)

Hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architecture design and deployment strategies
-
Troubleshooting infrastructure provisioning issues, automation failures, and CI/CD pipeline errors

Root cause analysis, incident management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams for resolution

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
-
15+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, and automation technologies
-
Proven experience in designing and implementing Terraform and Ansible solutions at enterprise scale
-
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills
-
Demonstrated success in driving automation, cloud transformation, and DevOps practices aligned to business outcomes

Certifications in Terraform (HashiCorp), AWS, Azure, or GCP
-
DevOps and Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD or equivalent)
-
Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migrations and M&A integrations
