Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Middle & High School English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students through innovative and student-centred teaching methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective English lessons for Middle and High School students.
- Teach English Language, Literature, Grammar, Writing, Reading Comprehension, and Communication Skills.
- Develop engaging lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and classroom activities.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, effective communication, and a love for reading among students.
- Assess student learning through classwork, assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate academic records and regularly monitor student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional academic support to students who require assistance.
- Prepare students effectively for school and board-level examinations.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Encourage participation in debates, elocution, creative writing, literary activities, and other language-based competitions.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with coordinators, HODs, and fellow teachers to ensure academic excellence.
- Participate actively in school events, PTMs, orientations, workshops, and other institutional activities.
- Maintain professional conduct and adhere to all school policies and academic standards.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Good knowledge of English grammar, literature, and language pedagogy.
- Prior teaching experience in Middle and/or High School is preferred.
- Experience with CBSE curriculum will be an added advantage.
