About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Professional Videographer with experience creating content for our YouTube channels with a combined audience of 15M+ subscribers. SimpleGhar is one of India's largest multi-language tech and home-appliance content networks, helping millions make smarter buying decisions through honest reviews, real-world testing, comparisons, and buying guides. SimpleGhar has built an audience of 14M+ subscribers and generated 20B+ total views across its Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and English channels.
The ideal candidate should have experience in shooting high-quality product videos, reviews, buying guides, educational content, and social media content. They should possess strong skills in camera operation, lighting, framing, composition, and visual storytelling. Experience in capturing engaging product demonstrations, B-roll sequences, talking-head videos, and studio setups is essential. The candidate should be capable of maintaining high production standards while working efficiently across multiple projects and content formats.
What You Will Do:
- Capture high-quality video footage for YouTube, social media, and branded content.
- Shoot product reviews, comparisons, buying guides, and educational videos.
- Plan and execute creative shots, B-roll sequences, and product showcases.
- Set up and manage cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and studio environments.
- Collaborate closely with scriptwriters, anchors, editors, and designers.
- Ensure visual consistency and maintain brand standards across all content.
- Capture content optimized for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts.
- Organize and manage footage, equipment, and production assets efficiently.
- Assist in pre-production planning, shot lists, and production workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest camera technologies, filming techniques, and content trends.
Required Skills:
- Camera Operation (Sony, Canon, Panasonic, or equivalent)
- Lighting Setup & Management
- Audio Recording Techniques
- Composition & Visual Storytelling
- Understanding of YouTube and Social Media Content Standards
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop is a plus
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional videography experience
- Strong understanding of framing, lighting, and camera movement
- Attention to detail and creative visual thinking
- Ability to work under deadlines and fast-paced production schedules
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to take ownership of shoots
- Must be able to work full-time on-site from our Hyderabad office
