Position: School Bus Driver
Location: Adithya Global School
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues, damages, or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure the safety and discipline of students while boarding, traveling, and alighting from the bus.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, school transportation policies, and safety regulations.
- Keep the bus clean, presentable, and in good operating condition.
- Coordinate with the Transport Manager and school administration regarding route changes, emergencies, or incidents.
- Assist students, especially younger children, in boarding and exiting the vehicle safely.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with School Bus Badge/Endorsement as per statutory requirements.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in driving buses, preferably school buses.
- Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to interact courteously with students, parents, and staff.
- Physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by the school.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
