About the Role
Britcare Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Cosmetologist / Beauty Therapist to join our academic team as a Faculty Member. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students pursuing careers in cosmetology and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and practical training sessions for the Cosmetology Assistant course.
- Demonstrate professional beauty, skin care, hair care, and aesthetic procedures.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, practical demonstrations, and learning materials.
- Conduct practical assessments, examinations, and evaluate student performance.
- Guide students on professional ethics, hygiene, client care, and workplace safety.
- Mentor students to develop technical and interpersonal skills required in the beauty and wellness industry.
- Assist in curriculum development and continuous improvement of training programs.
- Maintain laboratories, equipment, and training materials in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements, products, technologies, and industry trends in cosmetology and aesthetics.
- Participate in academic meetings, workshops, promotional activities, and institutional events.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, Aesthetics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in cosmetology or aesthetics are an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical, salon, aesthetic clinic, or teaching experience preferred.
- Fresh candidates with strong practical skills and a passion for teaching may also apply.
