Role Summary
Pranami Group is hiring a detail-oriented Store Executive to manage all materials, equipment, and inventory for Pranami Group. You will ensure timely availability of construction resources while minimizing wastage and controlling costs through accurate record-keeping, quality inspections, and efficient store operations. This role is critical to maintaining uninterrupted construction progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end store operations including receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of all materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual registers or store management software; conduct monthly stock reconciliation
- Coordinate with Project Manager and engineers to forecast material requirements and prevent stockouts
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity compliance; verify against purchase orders and delivery challans
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved indents; maintain comprehensive issuance documentation
- Organize store layout for easy identification, FIFO compliance, and damage prevention
- Manage tool and equipment inventory; track loans, returns, and maintenance schedules
- Conduct weekly physical verification of high-value and fast-moving items
- Report stock levels, consumption patterns, and reorder alerts to management and procurement team
- Ensure store security, fire safety compliance, and housekeeping standards
- Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules and resolve quantity/quality discrepancies
- Maintain audit-ready documentation including GRNs, material issue vouchers, stock registers, and consumption reports
- Identify and implement waste reduction measures and cost-saving opportunities
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 4-6 years in stores/inventory management (construction or manufacturing background preferred)
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree (Commerce, Engineering, or related field)
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel proficiency mandatory (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Software: Experience with inventory management systems (Tally, SAP, or ERP platforms) is a plus
