Job Summary
10 + years of experience in software testing / quality assurance, with 3–5 years in a Test Lead, Track Lead, or Workstream Lead role.
Experience working in an onsite-offshore delivery model, supporting onsite test leads and coordinating offshore testing activities for an assigned workstream.
Strong Communication to interact and present with different Project stake holders
Hands-on experience in manual testing, test design, test execution, defect management, test reporting, and release readiness support.
Experience with automation testing, API testing, backend testing, database testing, or integration testing is preferred based on project needs.
Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Xray, HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM, qTest, Azure DevOps, or similar test management and defect tracking tools.
Hands on experience in Robot Framework using Python
Use AI-assisted testing and automation tools to support test design, test case creation, coverage analysis, automation development, and estimation improvement, with appropriate human review and validation.
Experience supporting Life Sciences / Pharma / GxP-regulated applications is strongly preferred.
Understanding of CSV / CSA, risk-based validation, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, ALCOA+, requirements traceability, and audit-ready evidence documentation.
Ability to prepare clear workstream-level status updates, execution summaries, defect reports, risk logs, dependency trackers, and release readiness inputs.
Strong communication, coordination, analytical, ownership, and escalation skills.
ISTQB Foundation certification preferred; Agile/Scrum, GAMP 5, CSV, CSA, or Life Sciences domain certifications are added advantages
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies and plans for software testing projects
2. Lead and mentor a team of software testers to execute test cases and report defects
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure test coverage and timely delivery of quality software
4. Utilize jira for defect tracking and project management
5. Automate test cases using python scripting for efficient and effective testing
6. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in software testing
7. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on test progress and quality metrics

1. Strong experience in software testing methodologies and processes
2. Proficiency in using jira for defect tracking and project management
3. Handson experience with test automation using python
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a testing team
6. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Other Requirements
1.ISTQB Certified Tester or similar certification is preferred
