Job Description:
St. John’s Universal School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology & Chemistry Teacher for Grades 6–8. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge and the ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment for middle school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Biology and Chemistry to students of Grades 6–8.
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
- Conduct practical activities and encourage scientific inquiry.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support student development.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in ICSE/CBSE schools.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and student-centered learning environment.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
