Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Procurement Planner & Cost Control Executive to support procurement planning, vendor coordination, cost monitoring, and project budget control. The candidate will assist in ensuring timely material procurement while maintaining cost efficiency across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning
- Assist in preparing procurement schedules based on project timelines.
- Coordinate with project and site teams for material requirements.
- Track procurement status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Follow up with vendors for quotations, lead times, and dispatch.
Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets and maintain cost records.
- Compare estimated cost vs actual expenditure.
- Support preparation of BOQ, cost sheets, and variance reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without impacting quality.
Vendor Management
- Maintain vendor database and procurement records.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and price negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and documentation.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare purchase requests and purchase orders.
- Generate weekly/monthly procurement and cost reports.
- Maintain records of invoices, delivery notes, and approvals.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of procurement processes and cost management.
- Strong negotiation and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
- Understanding of BOQ, budgeting, and project costing.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil, Interior, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Planning, or Cost Control (Interior / Civil / Retail Projects preferred).
Preferred Experience:
- Experience handling retail or commercial interior projects.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software is an advantage.
Salary: As per industry standards
Joining: Immediate / Negotiable
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
