About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive Intern to support our sales and business development team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in lead generation, client communication, market research, and sales process management. The intern will work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and support customer acquisition activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation
- Identify potential clients through online research, databases, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Generate qualified leads for the sales team.
- Maintain and update lead databases in CRM or Excel sheets.
2. Client Outreach
- Initiate contact with potential clients through emails, calls, and LinkedIn messages.
- Schedule meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain communication records.
3. Market Research
- Conduct research to identify new markets, competitors, and industry trends.
- Analyze customer needs and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
4. Sales Support
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Support the sales team during client meetings and negotiations.
- Help maintain sales documentation and reports.
5. CRM & Reporting
- Update customer interactions in CRM tools.
- Track daily sales activities and prepare weekly reports.
- Assist in managing customer databases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to research and analyze market data.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
- Knowledge of LinkedIn lead generation and email outreach.
- Interest in business development and client relationship management.
