Part-Time Content, Listings & Ads Assistant (Remote)
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and creative Content & Listings Assistant to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. You'll be responsible for keeping our online presence active and polished — from drafting product listings across multiple platforms, editing engaging short-form video content, to running paid social media ads.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drafting and publishing 8–10 product/service listings per day across our website, Facebook Marketplace, and Trade Me
- Writing compelling, accurate, and SEO-friendly copy for each listing
- Editing and producing 3 short-form video reels daily for Facebook and Instagram
- Creating and managing paid ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Ads Manager)
- Monitoring ad performance and making basic optimisations (budget, targeting, creatives)
- Ensuring all content is on-brand, visually consistent, and optimised for each platform
- Managing and scheduling posts using social media tools as required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in content writing, copywriting, or e-commerce listing management
- Hands-on experience editing Reels/short-form video (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- Practical experience running Facebook & Instagram paid ad campaigns via Meta Ads Manager
- Familiarity with Facebook Marketplace, Trade Me, and Instagram best practices
- Strong written English — you can write punchy, persuasive copy quickly
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable internet connection and your own equipment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, etc.)
- Experience growing social media accounts organically
- Knowledge of ad retargeting and pixel setup
Hours & Pay
- Part-time, remote — flexible hours
- Pay (5-9k)
