Job Description – Node.js Developer (Fresher / Entry Level)
Job Summary
We are looking for a Node.js Developer to develop and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Node.js, databases, and modern web development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Required Skills
- Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of internship experience in Node.js development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Express.js.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with MongoDB and/or SQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of Git version control.
- Understanding of authentication methods such as JWT.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Socket.IO, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
