Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Engineer to supervise and monitor the construction of a residential house for a period of 6 months.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the construction work is carried out as per the approved plan, drawings, quality standards, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the residential site.
- Coordinate and manage contractors, workers, and other site personnel.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure work is completed as per schedule.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other vendors whenever required.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor material requirements and usage at the site.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues in coordination with the concerned team.
- Maintain daily/weekly progress updates and report the same to management.
- Ensure proper safety practices are followed at the construction site.
- Monitor the overall quality, progress, and timely completion of the project.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in residential building construction.
- Good knowledge of civil construction, finishing works, and site supervision.
- Ability to coordinate contractors and workers effectively.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Should be responsible, punctual, and willing to visit the site regularly.
- Candidates with experience in independent house / villa construction will be preferred.
