Cost Accounting & Data Maintenance
- Maintain cost records for raw material, WIP, finished goods, and scrap
- Ensure accurate capturing of production, purchase, and consumption data in ERP
- Track job work transactions and reconcile material issued vs. received
- Maintain cost centre-wise allocation of overheads (factory, administration, etc.)
- Update standard costs vs. actual costs periodically
Cost Control & Variance Analysis
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and wastage reduction
- Prepare cost sheets for products and job work activities
- Assist in budgeting and cost forecasting
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly cost statements (production, purchase, sales, consumption)
- Generate MIS for management on product-wise profitability
- Support statutory audit and cost audit requirements
- Coordinate with the plant accountant for job work invoice validation
Inventory & Stock Valuation
- Monitor stock levels and ensure periodic physical verification
- Value inventory using FIFO / weighted average as per policy
- Reconcile stock with books and investigate discrepancies
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting standards
- Proficiency in ERP (Tally / SAP / others) and MS Excel
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work with plant and corporate teams
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in commerce (B.Com) required
- ICWA (CMA) Intermediate or Final preferred
- M.Com in Costing / Finance is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting.
- Experience in manufacturing/job work / ERP environment is mandatory.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
