We are looking for a skilled PCB Circuit Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience in electronic circuit design, schematic development, PCB design, component selection, hardware testing, and product development. The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing multilayer PCBs, analog and digital circuits, power supply circuits, and microcontroller-based hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits and PCB assemblies based on product requirements.
- Develop and review schematics for analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Perform component selection, circuit calculations, and component derating.
- Design multilayer PCBs considering signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal and manufacturability requirements.
- Perform PCB component placement and routing while following design standards and DFM/DFT guidelines.
- Work with microcontrollers, processors, communication interfaces, sensors, connectors, power ICs and other electronic components.
- Design and troubleshoot DC-DC converters, LDOs, power supply circuits, protection circuits and battery-powered circuits.
- Design circuits involving interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, RS232/RS485, as applicable.
- Generate and maintain BOM, schematic, PCB layout, Gerber, drill and manufacturing documentation.
- Perform Design Rule Checks (DRC), Electrical Rule Checks (ERC) and design reviews.
- Conduct prototype bring-up, hardware debugging and functional testing.
- Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, logic analyzers and power supplies for circuit validation and troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve hardware design issues during prototype testing and production.
- Support PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, rework and production teams during product development.
- Coordinate with PCB manufacturers, component suppliers, assembly vendors and internal production teams.
- Participate in root-cause analysis, failure analysis and corrective actions.
- Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), design revisions and BOM updates.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports and design verification reports.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable quality, safety, reliability and manufacturing requirements.
Experience with PCB design tools such as:
- Altium Designer
- Cadence OrCAD/Allegro
- KiCad
- Mentor Graphics / PADS
- Other equivalent PCB design tools
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
