We make large industrial fans.
Somewhere in your region, a company is finishing a warehouse, expanding a plant, or quietly losing workers to a shop floor that reaches 42 degrees by noon. They will spend money on cooling this year. Most of them haven’t yet decided what to spend it on.
Your job is to reach them before anybody else does and then recommend what’s genuinely right, which is almost never the cheapest thing we make.
This isn’t a role where you look after accounts that already exist. It’s one where you go and find the ones that should.
Two people, one enquiry
One sends the customer a quotation.
The other walks the shop floor first, looks up at the roof, counts the bays, asks how many people quit last summer and then sends a quotation that answers a question the customer hadn’t finished asking. We’re looking for the second one.
What the work actually is
- Research your territory thoroughly to identify new industrial parks, warehouses, plant expansions, and companies that won large contracts needing space.
- Find the person who actually decides. It is rarely the person who answers first.
- Visit the site and look up. Roof height, heat, shift pattern, what they’ve already tried and why it disappointed them.
- Recommend the most suitable solution and explain why it costs more than the alternative.
- Build the commercial case. Fewer fans, lower running cost, better coverage, 15 years instead of 5.
- Stay with it through order, delivery and commissioning. What happens after the order decides whether there’s a second one.
- Tell management what’s actually happening, rather than what they’d enjoy hearing.
You’ll do well here if
- You research before you call, and it’s obvious inside the first minute.
- You’re comfortable in a factory owner’s office and equally comfortable on his shop floor in May.
- You can explain something technical to somebody non-technical without making them feel small.
- You hold your price, because you can justify it.
- You use AI and the internet to do in an hour what others still spend a day on.
This probably isn’t for you if
Again, no judgement. These are simply the things that make this particular job miserable.
- You’d prefer the enquiry to arrive on its own.
- You’re only comfortable once somebody else has qualified the lead.
- You find it awkward to ask directly about budget or timelines.
- A long cycle makes you anxious enough to go chase small, easy orders instead.
What you’ll need
- Common sense. (Rare, we know.)
- 3–6 years selling technical or capital equipment directly to industrial end users.
- Existing relationships with plant heads, facility managers or factory owners in your region.
- Strong spoken and written English; you’ll be writing to people who read carefully.
- Real comfort with Excel, presentations and research tools.
- Willingness to travel across your state.
What you’ll gain
- A territory of your own, and the authority to run it.
- Direct visibility with leadership, and a short route from your idea to a decision.
- Exposure to multiple products across the HVAC and industrial ventilation market.
- Long-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals that are genuinely worth having on a CV.
What we pay
We pay at or above market on the fixed component, and we build the incentive on top of it rather than out of it. It’s weighted towards the value of what you win rather than the number of things you win. This role rewards patience, and we’ve priced it that way.
There’s also an increment every year. We treat that as our obligation rather than your achievement. If you’re not worth more to us after 12 months than you were on the day you joined, that’s a failure of our training, not your effort.
Who we are
- We design and build industrial air movement systems used in factories, warehouses, automotive plants and large commercial buildings across India.
- Our products are already accepted in the market. We aren’t starting from zero. We’re scaling something that already works, and we need stronger people to do it faster.
- We’re a 50-year-old engineering and manufacturing company, and for the next 12 to 24 months this will feel less like a 50-year-old company and more like a system being rebuilt in real time. Fast. Occasionally chaotic. High ownership throughout.
How we work
- You’ll be based in your territory. There’s no daily commute, because there’s little sense in driving to an office in order to drive back out to a customer. That isn’t a perk. It’s arithmetic.
- Behind you: quotations, technical support, production, service.
- In front of you: your own week, to run as you see fit.
- We’ve tried to describe this work accurately rather than attractively. If it reads like hard work, that’s because we wrote it honestly.
How to apply
- Read the next 4 paragraphs properly before you write to us. They’ll save us both some time.
- If you’re already doing this exact work with the same audience selling something else directly into factories and warehouses across your region, say so plainly. That’s the shortest route through our process, and you’ll hear from us quickly.
- If you’re doing something close to it in a different industry, we’re still interested. Products can be taught. Territories can be learned. Working habits are much harder to install.
- And if you’re somewhere adjacent but confident you’d be good at this, tell us why you’re confident.
- That last one is the real question, so here it is plainly. Most people in this kind of role live off the accounts they already have. The ones who do well here build new ones from a blank page. Which of those two have you actually done?
- If it’s the second, tell us how you found them. Not the deal you closed, but how you found them in the first place. That part is the job.
- Then send your CV to [email protected], subject line “I know how factories actually buy.” Add a short note in your own words: why this role, and why you?
