To manage quantity estimation, cost planning, billing, and contract administration for construction projects while ensuring cost efficiency, budget control, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Verify BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents and subcontractor quotations.
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Prepare client bills, subcontractor bills, and vendor payment certifications.
- Measure work completed at site and certify quantities.
- Track project variations, extra items, and change orders.
- Coordinate with the site execution team for measurement and billing activities.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, budget variance reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Maintain records of quantities, contracts, and billing documentation.
- Assist in procurement by preparing material quantity requirements.
- Reconcile material consumption with executed quantities.
- Review contract terms and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Participate in project progress meetings and provide commercial updates.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying for building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
