Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Executive with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in search engine optimization to join our Gurgaon office. You will be responsible for improving organic search performance, increasing website traffic, conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and implementing both on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
The ideal candidate should stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices — and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Optimization
✔ Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
✔ Plan and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies
✔ Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and landing pages for better search visibility
✔ Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building practices
✔ Support local SEO initiatives and optimize business listings where applicable
Technical SEO
✔ Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate with developers to resolve issues
✔ Identify opportunities to improve website speed, crawlability, and user experience from an SEO perspective
✔ Working knowledge of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies, including optimizing content for AI-powered search and generative search experiences
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
✔ Monitor website performance using SEO tools and prepare regular performance reports
✔ Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversions, and recommend optimization strategies
Team Collaboration
✔ Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented
Industry Awareness
✔ Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and industry trends
Skills & Competencies
Required Skills
· Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
· Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Google Business Profile
· Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, or similar platforms
· Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and reporting skills
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· Knowledge of schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first indexing
· Experience in keyword research, backlink analysis, and competitor benchmarking
· Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar
· Strong adaptability, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset
· Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
· 2–3 years of hands-on experience in search engine optimization
· Experience in keyword research, backlink analysis, and competitor benchmarking
· SEO certifications (Google, HubSpot, SEMrush, or equivalent) are an added advantage
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and reporting skills
