Job description:
Hardware Diagnostics & Component Isolation: Find out exactly which part inside a broken PC or laptop has failed. Run tests to isolate and fix startup failures and dead motherboard circuits.
OS & Firmware Management: Set up, install, and deploy fresh Windows and Linux operating systems on user workstations. Safely install clean updates for system firmware, including BIOS, chips.
Fix Screen Problems: Diagnose black screens by testing RAM sticks one by one. Check laptop screens with a flashlight to see if the internal backlight is broken.
Fix Overheating Issues: Open hot computers to clean out thick dust. Clean off old, dry thermal paste and apply a fresh drop to keep the processor cool.
Fix Battery Issues: Reset laptop power systems by holding the power button for 30 seconds. Fix loose charging ports.
