Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wet Line Cluster Owner to lead, stabilize, and optimize wet chemical processing tools in Topcon Solar Cell Production. The role covers the complete life cycle from Greenfield setup to stable mass production, including tool installation, qualification, ramp-up, process stabilization, and long-term optimization for yield, cost, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Greenfield (New Plant / Line Setup):
- Participate in layout planning, utility requirement definition, and tool selection for Wet Line cluster.
- Lead tool installation, commissioning, and buy-off with OEMs and project teams.
- Develop process recipes, SOPs, control plans, and safety protocols during ramp-up.
- Support technology transfer and benchmarking from reference fabs / suppliers.
- Running Plant (Stable Production):
- Own Wet Line cluster (texturing, cleaning, edge isolation, etching, PSG removal, etc.) and ensure stable operations.
- Monitor KPIs – Yield, Efficiency, Throughput, Uptime, and Cost per wafer.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement, debottlenecking, and cost optimization projects.
- Ensure EHS compliance in chemical handling, waste treatment, and wet process safety.
- Train and mentor engineers/operators for skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, QA, R&D, and Planning to achieve plant targets.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in wet chemical processes for solar cells (acidic/alkaline texturing, cleaning, PSG removal, edge isolation).
- Hands-on experience in Greenfield-to-Ramp-up transitions.
- Familiarity with tool hardware, chemical systems, and automation.
- Strong problem-solving using SPC, FMEA, DOE, RCA, Six Sigma.
- Ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Electronics / Materials Engineering.
- 10–14 years’ experience in Solar Cell / Semiconductor industry with exposure to Greenfield projects and mass production.
