About the Role
Rabwin Industries is seeking an experienced Design Department Lead to lead and mentor our design team in developing innovative Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in machine design, fixture design, and manufacturing automation, along with proven leadership skills to manage end-to-end design projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Design Department and mentor design engineers.
- Develop innovative SPM and automation machine designs.
- Handle complete machine design projects from concept to implementation.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, procurement, and customers.
- Ensure timely project execution while maintaining quality standards.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
- Conduct design reviews and support continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in SPM (Special Purpose Machine) Manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in:
- Automation Machine Design
- Fixture Design
- Assembly Systems
- Experience leading a design team and managing multiple projects.
- Proficiency in:
- Siemens NX
- AutoCAD
- BOM Preparation
- GD&T
- PDM/PLM Systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design validation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Additional certifications in CAD, PLM, or Automation Design will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹63,462.20 per month
