Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3000+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40+ countries across different energy sectors.
This position caters to Grid Automation commissioning team overseeing the installation and commissioning of Bay level secondary equipment’s. Manage completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Responsible for commissioning and troubleshooting of Bay level secondary equipment’s for Middle East customers.
- Responsible for end-to-end relay testing and protection scheme testing.
- You will be responsible for setting, configuration and testing of Line differential, Transformer differential, Distance protection, backup & Busbar protection relays.
- You will be leading the configuration and testing of bay control unit testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge in switchgear interlock logic and relay block diagram.
- You will be responsible for modification of any relay configuration at site using PCM software.
- Knowledge in handling Omicron test kit.
- Extensive contact with other engineering groups, the project manager, local stake holders and externally to our customer during commissioning phase.
- Ready for travel to Middle east sites for commissioning support.
- Responsible for Testing procedure, Test results, Test records, Site Acceptance Test, Customer meetings, closing snag points, MOMs and site documentation.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 8-15 yrs. of experience in bay level control & protection relay testing.
- Commissioning experience to handle retrofit and manage risk assessments
- Good knowledge of power system technology.
- Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge in a specific area to execute complex or specialized projects / often thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions.
- Works independently, applying established standards.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
