Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automation, and monitoring tools. You will work closely with developers and senior DevOps engineers to support software deployment and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Support application deployment and infrastructure management.
- Learn and work with Docker and containerized applications.
- Assist in configuring and monitoring cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Help automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows.
- Learn and follow DevOps best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (HTTP, DNS, SSH).
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Exposure to Docker or containerization is a plus.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or Shell scripting).
- Willingness to learn cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Terraform is an added advantage.
- Personal projects or GitHub repositories demonstrating DevOps learning are a plus.
