Code_V is looking for a Game Designer to join our game development team!
We’re currently working on Gaia Genesis, a multiplayer hero-shooter featuring unique otherworldly animals, each with their own abilities, personalities, and visual identity.
Code_V is looking for a passionate Game Designer to join our team and help us build exciting multiplayer gaming experiences.
NOTE : THIS IS GOING TO BE A PROFIT SHARING ROLE. I.E. THE VOLUNTEER WILL BE GETTING THE COMPENSATION AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE GAME FOR UPTO 8 YEARS
What You’ll Do
- Design gameplay mechanics, systems, abilities, and game modes
- Create and balance characters, weapons, abilities, and progression
- Develop engaging player experiences and game loops
- Create and maintain Game Design Documents (GDDs)
- Work closely with programmers, artists, and other designers
- Analyze playtests and iterate based on player feedback
- Contribute creative ideas to improve the overall game
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of game mechanics and player psychology
- Good knowledge of multiplayer/hero-shooter games
- Ability to think creatively and solve gameplay problems
- Understanding of game balancing and progression systems
- Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus
- Previous game development experience or a strong portfolio is preferred
