Urgent opening for MEP Manager for one of the most growing Real Estate company. Candidate must have experience in High Rise Aluminum(Mivan) shuttering, can manage multiple projects at the time.
The MEP Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and quality control of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across multiple ongoing projects including high-rise residential towers, commercial complexes, and township developments. The role requires strong technical expertise, coordination with consultants/contractors, and end-to-end ownership of MEP design, execution, budgeting, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Design Coordination
- Review and validate MEP design drawings (HVAC, electrical, fire fighting, plumbing, drainage, STP/WTP, elevators) prepared by consultants for feasibility and constructability.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP consultants to ensure design integration across projects.
- Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.
2. Project Execution
- Oversee MEP execution across multiple sites (high-rise, commercial, township) simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Prepare and monitor detailed MEP execution schedules in coordination with the planning team.
- Ensure proper sequencing of MEP works with civil and finishing activities to avoid rework and delays.
3. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Finalize scope of work, technical specifications, and BOQs for MEP contractors/vendors.
- Evaluate contractor bids, conduct technical negotiations, and support procurement in vendor selection.
- Monitor contractor performance, resource deployment, and resolve site-level execution issues.
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all MEP installations comply with National Building Code (NBC), local municipal by-laws, fire NOC requirements, and green building norms (IGBC/GRIHA, if applicable).
- Implement quality checklists, inspection test plans (ITPs), and snag-free handover protocols.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards during MEP installation and testing.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare MEP cost estimates and monitor budgets vs. actuals across all projects.
- Control variations, extra items, and cost overruns through effective monitoring and approvals.
6. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Oversee testing and commissioning of all MEP systems (DG sets, transformers, HVAC, fire systems, elevators, WTP/STP, etc.).
- Coordinate with statutory authorities for approvals (Electricity board, Fire department, Lift inspectorate, Pollution control board).
- Ensure smooth handover of MEP systems to FM/CRM teams with complete documentation (as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties).
7. Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead a team of MEP engineers/site supervisors across projects.
- Coordinate with project heads, procurement, planning, and quality teams for smooth project delivery.
- Provide regular MIS reports and updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (Diploma with extensive experience may also be considered).
- Experience: 10–15 years in MEP execution, with at least 4–5 years in a managerial role handling large-scale real estate projects (high-rise, commercial, and/or township).
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects/sites.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire fighting & fire alarm systems, plumbing & drainage, STP/WTP, elevators, DG & transformer systems.
- Familiarity with NBC, fire safety norms, local statutory/regulatory approval processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, MS Excel; exposure to BIM (Revit MEP) preferred.
- Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent coordination, leadership, and multi-project management abilities.
- Good communication skills to liaise with consultants, contractors, and management.

Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹1,320,000.00 per year
