The Underwater Diving Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the safe execution of all commercial diving operations, including underwater ship inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, underwater repairs, offshore support activities, marine construction support, and related underwater intervention works. The role requires strict adherence to industry safety standards, client specifications, and statutory regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiving Operations Management
- Plan, organize, and supervise all commercial diving activities.
- Conduct pre-dive risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Ensure diving operations are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and safety regulations.
- Monitor diving personnel, equipment, and operational conditions throughout the project.
Underwater Inspection & Survey
- Supervise underwater inspections of ship hulls, propellers, rudders, sea chests, thrusters, and offshore structures.
- Coordinate underwater photographic and video documentation.
- Verify inspection findings and prepare technical reports for clients.
Underwater Cleaning & Maintenance
- Supervise hull cleaning, propeller polishing, sea chest cleaning, and marine growth removal operations.
- Ensure cleaning activities comply with environmental and port authority requirements.
- Monitor quality and effectiveness of cleaning operations.
Offshore & Marine Support Activities
- Supervise diving support during offshore construction, installation, repair, and maintenance projects.
- Coordinate underwater intervention works on pipelines, subsea structures, moorings, and marine assets.
- Ensure compliance with offshore operational standards and client requirements.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain full compliance with IMCA, ADCI, OSHA, and applicable maritime regulations.
- Ensure diving equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and certified.
- Manage emergency response procedures and diving contingency plans.
- Maintain accurate dive logs, safety records, and operational documentation.
Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise divers, dive technicians, tenders, and support personnel.
- Allocate duties and monitor team performance.
- Conduct training, mentoring, and competency assessments for diving personnel.
Client & Project Coordination
- Liaise with vessel masters, shipyard representatives, port authorities, and offshore clients.
- Prepare operational reports, inspection reports, and completion certificates.
- Participate in project planning and resource allocation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
