Role: Automation Test Engineer – Playwright
Experience: 6 – 10 Years
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks using Playwright
- Design and develop automation scripts using TypeScript / JavaScript or Python
- Ensure cross‑browser and cross‑platform automation coverage
- Perform UI, functional, API, and end‑to‑end automation testing
- Automate testing for Windows applications (UI and Windows services)
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Ensure reliability and stability of automation suites across environments
- Analyze test execution results, identify root causes, and support debugging
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and QA teams to improve automation maturity
- Prepare test documentation, reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript (or Python)
- Experience in Windows application testing (UI and service-level testing)
- Strong understanding of modern test automation architecture and best practices
- Experience with REST API testing and validation
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation integration
- Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
- Ability to analyze logs, data, and automation failures effectively
